Say What You Need To Say
Been watching the second episode of “Tru Calling”: they need a better singer for the title song, but thankfully they’ve pulled the plug on those obnoxious intercuts (mostly). Eliza Dushku shouldn’t frown this often, still most of the time she pulls it off rather convincingly, and the Morgue boss is way cool
. Currently I’m downloading more of Tru; however I fear as I’ll be gone on Wednesday, I won’t get to see as much as I’d like until then. Talking about rates of 0,5kb/s again… the latest Charmed ep is also incredibly slow, I’ve been downloading it like half a week by now!
Not sure if I want to see that anyway because from what I’ve seen so far, it looks like a “Sleepy Hollow” / “Harry Potter” crossover, not to say a poor copy of both of them. Are they so desperate for stories they have to get “inspiration” from other sources? The last times they did this ended not so well (Leprechauns in “Lucky Charmed”, nymphs in “Naughty nymphs, King Arthur in “Sword and the city” and no doubt yet another genie in “I dream of Phoebe” yesterday), if they at least brought their own twist into it!
Currently it seems to me the only thing they are creative at is hiding Holly Marie Comb’s pregnancy, what is most obvious in Piper’s newly discovered preference for ponchos, carrying large things in front of her belly or hiding behind large objects. They’ve handled this far better on “The X-Files” years ago, but I suppose you can’t expect Piper to be suddenly abducted by aliens, too
