I discovered a new movie which sounds (literally) very good: “Connie & Carla” (http://www.connieandcarla.com) starring Nia Vardalos and Toni Collette as two unsuccessful bar singers who have to flee to LA because they witnessed a murder. Yes, this sounds a lot like “Some like it hot”, and in fact it is kind of the female version because what do C&C to make their living there: they appear as drag queens :grin: . Very successful so, but after a while the women who appear as men who appear as women get into trouble of the romantic kind. This trouble bears the name David Duchovny and I can’t say how delightful it is to have him back on screen. The small clip I saw with him reciting drag queen cliches while drunk sure was lmao, plus the other stuff which can be found at the official web site is even more hilarious. “C&C” will be released on April 16th in the states, no word on when it will hit theaters here in Germany yet :( .
