Movie of the week: Monster. I’ll say I don’t doubt the Academy’s decision to give Charlize Theron the Oscar for best actress. In fact sometimes her acting is so real it’s almost unbearable. Not that the story is a happy one but during some scenes I was close to put the hands over my eyes and / or ears; especially the last murder is hard to bear. Very disturbing but also very moving. 6 out of 6 Meeps.

I have the two CDs from Japan now :D . “Forgiven, not forgotten” comes with a Japan-only bonus track called “Somebody else’s boyfriend”, and the lyrics have been transcribed and translated to Japanese. A dark-brown obi strip is also provided. “Talk on corners” is a 2 CD package with an Asian-special edition of the CD plus a VCD with the videos for “Only when I sleep”, “Dreams” and “What can I do”. The packaging is from Brazil and the CDs from Singapore, the album comes with 16 tracks instead of 14 and features “Forgiven, not forgotten” and “Runaway” from the debut album also. Condition of both items is mint :D and will add nicely to my growing Corrs collection.
