Say What You Need To Say
Right. So I’ve spent today listening to a Belgian radio station that promised to play the Corrs’ album “Home”, and somehow all I got to hear were the Beach Boys and Aerosmith (curious combination, to say the least). However, some others were more lucky than me and managed to snap “Moorlough shore” and “Black is the colour” of the air – well, guess what I’ve been listening to for the last couple of hours
. Though the quality sucks mostly, I’m absolutely loving “Moorlough Shore” for its elaborate instrumental fading out, that’s so great! I think I like the live version of BITC better but hey, you take what you can get
.
Oh, and one word about the banshining of links to those ripped songs on several message boards: I can’t see how that is piracy. Most, if not even all of us who are so desperate for sound snippets are buying the album anyway, so why not let us listen to it in advance? Sure the release date is “just” two weeks away but then again, the closer we get to the date, the more impatient I’m becoming. These bad quality ripp-offs don’t hurt anybody, so why bother banning people for posting those links?
I do apologize to any non-Corrs fans out there (if there are any
) if it appears as though they have taken over my blog. Well, they did. But it’s for a good reason and if you have nothing better to do, check out one sound sample or two – it won’t hurt
.
