Da Twelf’s parcel full of DVDs with Poppy Montgomery has arrived today, whee :D! I can enjoy “Blonde” and “Demontown” (a horror movie, oh joy - I first read the title as “Demotown” :P) later, plus I still have some episodes of “Without a trace”, season 1 on DVD. Bliss thanks to 12chen .
Movie of the week: “Ice age 2″ Warning - SPOILERS!
I can’t believe that Finland won the Eurovision contest :o! What the hell is wrong with Europe’s taste in music?! Since when are hard-rock monster dudes en vogue again ?
This story requires a bit of background information: there’s a statue in the harbor which depicts a prostitute holding both the pope and the emperor in her hands, signifying who was the greatest power during the church council here in the 15th century :P. The statue called “Imperia” is 12m high and
very hard to overlook. However the sign which states what it depicts is 1) very small in comparison and 2) in German only.
There is an art gallery in my house which appropriately is only open 4 hours a day :P. This morning while running errands I walked by the shop window and I almost did a double take. The display was so freaking ridiculous I had to take a picture (and believe me, I’m used to just about everything from that gallery by now :P):
or: Now I know how Brangelina feels
The Brangelina part concerns the other interview I gave about the Gay-Cafe also last February. The article is in the paper this week and while it’s not as bad as it could be, it’s a lot worse than I had hoped. First of all, the whole thing mainly consists of direct quotes with a few “says/adds/remarks/notes” thrown in for good measure - not exactly Pulitzer prize material.
