Even very literally so: I’ve finally decided to get a Daft Punk album, and I hit gold with “Discovery” (released in 2001). Apart from very few exceptions (the aptly titled “Too long”, or “Veridis quo”), every song on it is a winner.

French duo Daft Punk have been working together since the 1990s and are considered to be one of the most influental Electronic music acts of the last decade. They are widely successful even though (or because?) they are a tad eccentric - for one thing, they refuse to show their faces and appear on stage with helmets only. Nevertheless, when it comes to well-produced House music with style, Daft Punk are still the first address.

Let’s not forget the classic “Around the world”, and some newer songs like “Robot Rock” or “Technologic”, and it’s clear why Daft Punk is my daft punk of choice ;).
