Say What You Need To Say
Though I wouldn’t necessarily claim I can write PHP code from scratch, I like to dabble with it once in a while – especially I like to hack scripts which are part of packages like Wordpress, Pixelpost or Coppermine. And now I found the perfect plugin for the latter: CoppermineFetch!
What it does is display any kind of image (random, highest rated, recently added…) on a PHPpage outside of your Coppermine gallery, for example the index page. All it needs for that is a few lines of PHP code, and voilá! Basically it works just the same as the Pixelpost plugin on the right which displays a random picture from my photolog (shameless self-promotion
).
With the help of a few CSS definitions you can easily customize the image(s) you want to show and integrate the output in your site’s design. All you need is a Coppermine gallery and some images of course
.
