What is it about?
Being the fourth “child” of Gene Roddenberry’s Star Trek universe, the show deals with a Starfleet ship lost in the Delta quadrant. In order to make it home (a journey which will take appr. 70 years!), the crew under Captain Kathryn Janeway have to overcome their differences while discovering new and dangerous species every corner they turn.
What I like about it
The premise of being lost in a completely uncharted part of space fascinates me, as well as the fact that Captain Janeway takes the time to explore. I also like the fact we have a female captain for once (about time!). My favorite characters are Seven of Nine and the Doc, the two most notable outsiders of the crew.
