Head over to www.coldplay.com and download the first single of the upcoming album “Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends” called “Violet Hill” for free. You better hurry though because it’s only available for a week. If the single is any indication, it’s going to be a fantastic album - I’m looking forward to it!

Have I mentioned I love imeem? It’s fantastic - I discover lots of new songs every day, and it’s all for free! Latest discovery is Austrian singer Madita and her album “Too”. Recommended songs so far include “Better Brother” and “Because”. Listen now:

The title may be quite blah but at least the impending release of the second X-Files movie means spotlight on Gillian Anderson again. She recently did a photoshoot and interview with Maxim, and as was to be expected, the photos are a lot easier on the eyes than the interview is on the brain (no offense to Gillian Anderson, but MAXIM?!). Let’s have a look, shall we?

I have recently watched “La Reine Margot”(Queen Margot) which I can only recommend to anyone into long, bloody costume dramas. And also to fans of Isabelle Adjani, who looks like Snow White re-incarnate: long black hair, blue eyes, red lips and pale skin. Here’s the proof:

Or more precisely, vote! Today’s poll question on the IMDB is “What do you think of the title for the new X-Files movie — The X-Files: I Want to Believe?”. Not that the powers that be are going to change anything but I still think it can’t hurt to let them know what you think. Let’s just say I chose the third option… why they would choose a title with so much history when apparently it is not a mythology movie? Seems to me someone tried hard to bring the mysterious back ;)!

It’s debatable whether it’s better to have an ohrwurm in a language you understand or not - if you don’t know what is sung, you can concentrate on the music but on the other hand, a song consists of the music AND the lyrics. That interesting controversy aside, here a few of my favorite songs that are not in English: discover Spanish, French, German, Gaelic, Hebrew, Arabic, Italian, Swedish, Japanese, Turkish and Hindi songs!
