David Duchovny doing… well, what really?
1998 saw the release of “The X-Files Movie”, and as the big fan I was of the TV show back then, I saw it the first day it came out. Since then a few things have changed, among them that I don’t collect every newspaper snippet of Gillian Anderson for instance - the love for redheads is still going strong, though ;)…
Now it looks as if the long-awaited (ahem) sequel to said movie is finally in production. However, the first movie stills are um, well, let’s say not giving anything away. It’s not like we haven’t seen Mulder and Scully stare cluelessly at a computer screen or walking down hallways in their coats before, in all of the show’s 9 seasons!

I probably won’t sleep outside the cinema to see the movie first thing in the morning but I’m certainly going to have a look at it - for my old X-philes days!

The movie has finished filming and will be in U.S. theaters on July 25.
Duchovny’s not dancing in the street. If you saw the video at Flynet, you’d see that he was running as they were filming a scene.
Thanks for the release date! To be quite honest, I wasn’t seriously concluding anything about the movie from the pictures above- which was my point really, since they are so nondescript.
