Say What You Need To Say

I’ll say!

How I could overlook John Mayer’s new single “Say” until now (it’s been released in November 2007!), I don’t know. What I *do* know though is that I absolutely love, love, love it now that I’ve listened to it nonstop for two hours! Check it out on John Mayer’s official website…

John Mayer, continued

John Mayer’s third (or fourth, depending on what you count in) studio album “Continuum” manages to sound a lot like him and yet also very different.

Music was my first love

Right now, there is so much to discover:

  1. Scissor Sisters, “Ta-Dah!”: long-awaited and just by listening twice I can say well worth the wait. Favorite songs at the moment include “Ooh” and “Kiss you off”. If ABBA were still together, I’m pretty sure that’s how they’d sound: retro and funky at the same time. - 5 out of 6 Meeps
You can listen to “Ta-Dah!” at the Sisters’ MySpace
  2. John Mayer, “Continuum”: also eagerly anticipated (at least by me :P). The 1st single “Waiting for the world to change” sounds good but not quite as catchy as Mayer’s previous work. Maybe just a slightly bad choice as single? - ? out of 6 Meeps
  3. India.Arie, “Testimony, Vol. 1: Life & Relationship”: India.Arie cuts her hair and this time enters the arena with lots of help by well-known rappers like Akon. Lyric-wise, Arie delivers as usual, the music has evolved nicely. - 4 out of 6 Meeps
