A little bit of Keane, a little bit of Queen, a little bit of fireworks - et voilĂ , Muse with “Starlight”!
…that this is actually a good idea. The trailer for the upcoming second X-Files movie “I want to believe” however, makes things a little hard in that department: is it just me or does this not seem particularly cutting edge?
My (kinda) namesake from Norway makes sweet electro pop of the addictive kind. Check out her hits “Heartbeat” and new single “I Know Your Girlfriend Hates Me” below:
I have recently watched “La Reine Margot”(Queen Margot) which I can only recommend to anyone into long, bloody costume dramas. And also to fans of Isabelle Adjani, who looks like Snow White re-incarnate: long black hair, blue eyes, red lips and pale skin. Here’s the proof:
For no particular reason (Wikipedia tells me Australia Day was on January 26th, already): three songs by Australian artists - Delta Goodrem, Gabriella Cilmi and good old Kylie Minogue (and I use “old” in the best possible way - that woman has been around for 20 years!)
Or something a bit more clever ;). Anyway, Duffy is begging for Mercy, and Madcon are just “Beggin” - they are so desperate, they don’t even have time for proper spelling ;p. What they *do* have time for though is an extremely groovy song: I’ll bet you anything you start nodding your head to the beat in no time flat!
Ohrwurm time! If you can tell me why this song is called “Pumpkin soup”, you… well, are smarter than me ;). Point is though that this tune by Kate Nash is extremely catchy, and the bright colours of the video are a perfect match.
If you have cats, you know what this man is drawing about. If you don’t, trust him - having them is exactly as horribly funny as he shows it!
You know the spiel by now: I have an ohrwurm, you’re introduced to a new song ;). So here it comes - Duffy with “Mercy”.
